Myanmar Copper Mine Project donates to Local Community

On October 15, NORINCO’s Monywa copper mine project in Myanmar held the 2015 donation ceremony at the new temple in Letpadaung, at which old-age fund and vehicles were donated to the local community. As an important part of this year’s community aid program, NORONCO donated to 1217 elderly people aged above 75 in more than 50 villages around the project, and bought vehicles and built community offices for 11 villages. NORINCO has also built schools and clinics for surrounding villages, provided mobile medical services for free, and provided subsidies to more than 1000 students, totaling more than USD5 million accumulatively in the past two years.
